About Stewarton Scout Group...
- Stewarton Scout Group can trace its roots back to the First world War - some 90 years ago. This makes our Group one of the oldest in the country.
- We are in the Ayrshire East District and have over 100 members which makes us the largest Scout Group in the District
- We have a recruited some excellent leaders in the past few years, this has built on the great works of those that have went before. We continue to do our best for the young people in Stewarton and surrounding areas.
- We want to ensure Scouting in Stewarton exists for another generation, so many more young people can come to know the fun and fellowship Scouting brings. How can my child join ?
- As well as our Scouting activities, we meet at least every 6 weeks with the Group Scout Leader, Treasurer, Secretary and Committee members to discuss matters - this is called the Executive meeting. We also have a very important sub committee that are more or less autonomous - in other words you don't need to get too involved in the actual running of the Group - this is the Fundraising Committee which meet a week in advance of the Executive Committee. It sounds complicated but it's not. Scouting relies on volunteers and we need parents and anyone with an interest to help run fundraising events. Join our fundraising Group
- Our key values - we put the family first. Our events are not only centred on fundraising but having fun with the family. Scouting is one big family, so please give some time to join us as a helper, or fundraiser with this family.

We meet in the former Corsehillbank Primary School and share the premises with Stewarton Drama Group.
We view our hall and facilities as a genuine asset in the community. Our Hall is used on Sundays by Potters house Christian Church and a very successful Highland dancing Group.
